There is more to eating in Cannes than the palace hotels. Around Forville, market cooking and Provençal recipes shape the meal. The lanes of Le Suquet bring together wine-led restaurants and grills, while the centre offers small plates, bistros and seasonal menus. On the Croisette, hotel dining adds another setting to the choice.
This first selection covers 17 establishments within Cannes itself. It draws on official websites, menus, restaurant guides and tourism offices. It is neither an exhaustive ranking nor a record of meals tested by the guide. Each profile explains the cooking style, why the address may suit your plans and the practical details to check.
For lunch near the market, compare Le Bistrot Gourmand’s set menus with the Provençal cooking at Aux Bons Enfants. Astoux et Brun offers a walk-in seafood meal. Le Pompon suits an evening of small plates, while Table 22 par Noël Mantel and Le Maschou take the choice into the lanes of Le Suquet.
La Table du Chef builds the evening around a surprise menu; L’Affable and L’Éponyme work within a French repertoire. UVA puts wine first, while Sens operates with chefs in residence. BOBO Bistro and Le grain de sel… offer broader menus. For a lively dinner, La Môme is the rue Florian restaurant, separate from its beach venue.
La Palme d’Or at the Martinez is the Michelin-starred fine-dining option in this selection. Riviera at the Carlton offers Mediterranean brasserie cooking and a terrace. Away from the waterfront, Côté Jardin by Steve Moracchini adds a garden setting in Petit Juas.
Lunch menus may exclude public holidays or congress periods, notably at Le Bistrot Gourmand and Riviera. Astoux et Brun does not take bookings. La Palme d’Or announces closure from 1 to 26 November 2026 inclusive and from 1 January to 1 March 2027 inclusive. La Table du Chef posts holiday notices for 2 and 3 November; confirm reopening directly. Prices and hours in the profiles are dated checks and may change.
The BRA Score — aggregated online reviews summarises public reviews; it does not represent a guide visit or an award. BRA-1.0 weights Google at 50%, TheFork at 30% and Tripadvisor at 20%, converts ratings to 10 and renormalises across eligible sources. At least two platforms with 30 reviews each and 100 combined reviews are required. Missing or conflicting figures are not replaced with zero. No BRA Score is calculated for this selection until these conditions are verified.
