Astoux et Brun has built its Cannes identity around seafood since 1953. The brasserie is at 27 cours Félix Faure, close to the Old Port and the base of Le Suquet. It is a different address from the associated fish shop at 3 rue Louis Blanc; use the restaurant address when planning your meal.
There is a particularly useful distinction in the published service times. Shellfish are served daily from noon to 9:30pm. Cooked à la carte dishes are listed from noon to 2pm and 7pm to 9:30pm on weekdays, with continuous service from noon to 9:30pm at weekends. Last orders are at 9:30pm.
The restaurant explicitly states that it does not accept reservations. Plan this as a walk-in seafood meal and allow some flexibility, rather than relying on a booking link from an old directory. Cannes Tourism also notes that waiting for a table is part of the experience at busy times.
