Testa Dura Pizza Club was created by three friends who met at Ferrandi in Bordeaux. Their pizzeria on cours d'Albret uses sourdough and flour made from the heritage wheat variety Rouge de Bordeaux, with pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven.
The menu follows the seasons and extends beyond the most familiar pizza combinations. Alongside tomato and buffalo mozzarella, the published carte includes vegetable-led options and more adventurous toppings. House-made ice cream and desserts provide another reason to leave room at the end of the meal. Wines are available both on site and to take away.
Reservations and orders are taken by telephone or in person. The restaurant opens on Tuesday evening and then for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. Pizzas and bottles of wine can also be taken away, while group events and private hire can be discussed directly with the team.
