There are restaurants belonging to luxury houses. And then there is Monsieur Dior, born from a question Yannick Alléno asked himself: what would Christian Dior do if he were designing a restaurant today?
At 30 avenue Montaigne, where it all began in 1946, the light-filled first-floor dining room extends the house's world right through to Dior tableware. Seven months after opening, the 2026 Michelin Guide awarded a first star to this restaurant led by the world's most Michelin-starred chef.
Shapes, textures and materials converse with the house's archives: draped “New Look” sea bass, Christian Dior egg with Paris ham and caviar, sole poached in beurre blanc, “hand-stitched” poultry and macaroni with black truffle. Haute couture applied to the plate, without ever sacrificing flavour for appearance.
A distinctive feature: lunch is served every day from 11:45 to 15:30, followed by afternoon tea until 19:30. There is no dinner, but the experience offers a complete taste of the French art of living, valet parking included.
Because the meeting of an iconic house and a chef at the height of his powers creates a restaurant found nowhere else.
Monsieur Dior, elegance turned into cuisine.
