There are restaurant dining rooms. Then there is Héritages: five tables, not one more, with the atmosphere of a grand hotel's drawing room.
On rue Treilhard, in a discreet corner of the 8th, the restaurant took over from Maison Ruggieri in June 2025, which had earned two stars here. The setting seemed destined for it: under Arthur Dubois, chef of neighbouring Maison Dubois, Héritages won its first Michelin star in 2026.
With around twenty guests per service, every table is treated as a special occasion. The five-course Signature menu, served at lunch and dinner, presents fresh, modern cooking centred on fine ingredients: milk-fed lamb with peas, Arctic char with beurre blanc and smoked pike roe, John Dory gently cooked in butter.
Behind the modern plating, the red guide's inspectors noted the generosity and intensity of the sauces: highly technical and rooted in tradition. The restaurant openly embraces this heritage, right down to its name, honouring the passing of knowledge between craftspeople, masters and apprentices.
Because the intimacy is complete and the standards never slip: you leave feeling that you have had a secret all to yourself.
