Danton

Danton is a modern French bistro at 8 rue Danton, in Lyon’s third arrondissement. The kitchen works with a changing seasonal menu, applying techniques such as low-temperature cooking within a restaurant format that remains accessible for a weekday lunch or dinner.

The menu’s interest lies in its current combinations of produce, sauces and accompaniments, rather than in a permanent catalogue of signature dishes. Desserts and the wine selection are also part of the restaurant’s presentation. Older seasonal menus are useful evidence of the style but should not be read as a promise of what will be served in autumn.

The Michelin Guide lists Danton as a Bib Gourmand, recognising its place among restaurants selected for good food and value. That recognition is separate from customer-platform scores and does not enter the BRA calculation.

Service is listed from Monday to Friday, with lunch from 12:00 to 13:30 and dinner from 19:30 to 21:30. The restaurant is closed at weekends. Reserve through the official website and consult the current menu for prices; a previous summer menu has deliberately not been presented as the current offer.
