There are themed restaurants. And then there is Chez Gala, conceived as a Mediterranean home that recreates the grand receptions of the seventies.
On Rue Arsène Houssaye, 200 metres from the Champs-Élysées, the dining room unfolds in psychedelic chic: floor-to-ceiling lacquer, monochrome blue, green and beige, fine materials, antique tableware, mirror balls and candlelight.
The first sitting is accompanied by an elegant piano-and-vocal duo. Then the DJ takes over and the room gently shifts into party mode, until 02:00. The generous Mediterranean cooking is served on large, convivial sharing plates.
The basement hides the house's signature: a festive hammam inspired by the East, with its own cocktail bar and DJ area. Available for private hire, it turns a birthday or a large, intimate dinner into an evening people still talk about months later.
Because nostalgia is a way of life here, and celebration a matter of style.
Chez Gala, a Roaring Twenties reception with a disco twist.
