Clémence Taillandier and Philippe Platel's modern bistro pairs a short seasonal menu with a considered wine selection.
Pulpe is a modern bistro on rue Saint-André created by Clémence Taillandier and Philippe Platel. Their official introduction places food and wine on equal footing: a deliberately short menu of bistro dishes, shaped by the season, alongside wines chosen through relationships with growers.
The pair met while working at L’Astrance in Paris and later joined Rozó before opening their own restaurant. Michelin describes a vintage-influenced room with velvet seating, mosaic tiling and brass lighting. That background helps explain the proposition without turning the guide into a claim of a personal visit.
Pulpe is particularly useful when organising a weekend in Lille, because its official schedule includes both Sunday lunch and dinner. It opens Wednesday evening, then for both services Thursday to Sunday. Check the latest menu and prices directly when booking.

BRA score not calculated: insufficient verified source coverage.
BRA-1.0 combines verified public ratings: Google 50%, TheFork 30%, Tripadvisor 20%. Ratings are converted to a ten-point scale and weights are renormalised over eligible sources. At least two platforms are required, each with at least 30 reviews and a combined total of 100 reviews. The result is rounded to one decimal place, with halves rounded up.
Review totals are platform counts, not necessarily unique people. Different source coverage limits comparisons between restaurants. This score does not represent a visit by our team or an award. Historical editorial ratings remain separate.
