Au Crocodile offers a different kind of Strasbourg meal from the city’s winstubs. The house traces its history to 1840, while its present kitchen is led by Romain Brillat. The current official presentation puts seasonal ingredients and contemporary French cooking at the centre of the experience.

Consider this address for a meal planned as an occasion in itself. Alongside the main restaurant, the house advertises the Émile Jung Table and private rooms, giving small celebrations and business groups alternatives to a standard booking.

The menu page specifies that set menus are served to the whole table. Lunch is listed from Thursday to Saturday and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. Look at the current menu before deciding on the format, and discuss dietary requirements when reserving.

The menu checked on 2 November lists four, six and eight courses at €112, €142 and €172 before drinks. A €72 three-course lunch is offered on Thursdays and Fridays, excluding public holidays and the Christmas-market period.
